Catch ‘Orange is the New Black’ Cast and Creator Live at the Paley Center

Join Taylor Schilling, Taryn Manning and More of the Cast of ‘Orange is the New Black’ at the Paley Center
It seems like binge watching wasn’t even a thing before Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black.” Debuting in 2013, some were slow to warm up to it but once word got out, everyone was hooked. Now it’s like clockwork. June rolls around, Netflix releases a batch of new “OITNB” episodes on a Friday, fans spend the weekend locked indoors watching and come Monday are sad because it’s a whole year before they get to see how things unfold in Litchfield. Well that time is almost here once more and to celebrate, the cast and creator are coming by the Paley Center to discuss the upcoming fourth season of this award-winning series.

Creator Jenji Kohan will be in attendance to talk about being the mastermind who decided to take Piper Chapman’s real life story of being locked up and turning it into a series with over 30 accolades and awards under its belt. She’ll be joined by Taylor Schilling, the arguable star of the series. This is up for debate because with such a large ensemble of well-portrayed characters, fans have really made the show less about anyone in particular and more about the prison as a whole with each passing season highlighting new tales, both in and outside of the four walls. Last season, fans got to see a whole new side of Taryn Manning‘s Pennsatucky. She will also be there that night to talk about her favorite aspects of their third season and what fans can expect from her in the fourth.

Rounding out the list of talented women and men from this cast who’ll be live at the Paley Center are Kate Mulgrew and Michael Harney, – who teetered on romance last season – Selenis Leyva and Natasha Lyonne. Lyonne’s Nicky exited pretty early in season three, so fans who attend may get to find out how her character did outside of Litchfield and if they can expect her back. Of course, they can’t reveal every detail, but they’ll open up about what they can to get fans pumped for season four, which drops on Netflix June 17.

Fans can join the creator and cast of “Orange is the New Black” at the Paley Center on May 26. Tickets can be purchased here.
