Bruno Mars Announces Worldwide ‘24K Magic Tour’ for 2017

It’s hard to imagine how any performer has the stamina for a world tour. Night after night of singing ‘til your throat’s sore, dancing ‘til you’re ready to drop, keeping the lyrics and choreography memorized. Add all the logistics needed to get you to the stage where you have to put on a special show for each and every city. But they do.

Now behold Bruno Mars’ newly announced “24K Magic World Tour” for 2017. It’s mind-bending. With 85 dates on the list, Mars will bring his uptown funk across the entirety of the U.S. and Canada along with an extensive run in Europe.

Though the tour technically kicks off in Antwerp, Belgium on March 28, he’ll perform a string of warm up dates in Las Vegas at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino. Fans living in New York will have their choice of dates and venues to choose from as well. Mars kicks off his mini New York tour in Manhattan on Sept. 22, then after a few days’ rest heads to the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on Sept. 26 and returns to Brooklyn for a show at the Barclays Center on Oct. 4. Mars will conclude his “24K Magic World Tour” in Los Angeles with four nights of R&B thrills at The Forum on Nov. 7-8 and 10-11.

Mars’ upcoming album “24K Magic” is slated for release on Nov. 18, just in time for fans to memorize the lyrics and the moves for that matter. “Anytime you see us, on tour, on TV, I want to be moving,” Mars recently told Rolling Stone. “I was very conscious on this album of the bounce.” The album is expected to be all Bruno with only a few contributions by artists such as Babyface and Skrillex.

Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic World Tour” kicks off on March 28 with dates at NYC’s Madison Square Garden Sept 22, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center Oct. 4 and LA’s The Forum Nov. 7-8 and 10-11. Tickets can be purchased here.
