Spring is here and New York is slowly getting warmer. April has plenty of noteworthy events to check out throughout the city. Tribeca Film Festival is back with their 2017 edition. If you’re looking for great concerts, Bon Jovi, John Mayer and Billy Joel all hit Madison Square Garden. Circus 1903 is at The Theater at MSG as well and Amelie is taking over the Walter Kerr stage. If you are a foodie, taste your way through Brooklyn’s Taste of Fifth and the Brooklyn Wine Fest. Whatever your looking for, The Bucket List has you covered.

Amelie at The Walter Kerr Theater | April 3
Everyone’s favorite quirky character from the French film,“Amelie” is back in an all-new stage adaptation. The film, released all the way back in 2001, met much critical acclaim. This time around, Pam Mackinnon stars at the titular character – and is about a woman who orchestrates the lives of those around her in a Parisian setting.

Taste of Fifth at Grand Prospect Hall | April 4
Park Slope bars and restaurants will convene at Prospect Hall, serving up snacks, sweets, and drinks from over 40 local eateries. A ticket into the event not only hooks you up with the latest and greatest chef creations, but also benefits a number of local charities. It’s a win/win situation that will leave your belly and your conscience satisfied.

John Mayer at Madison Square Garden Arena | April 5
From the radio to the concert hall – come experience one of the greatest young voices in music today! Grammy award winner, John Mayer, performs at Madison Square Garden Arena for one night only. Hits include, “Daughters,” “Say,” and “Waiting on the World to Change.”

Circus 1903 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden | April 5 – April 16
The circus is back in town. Experience two hours of entertainment with captivating acts from all over the world. The event includes acrobatics, aerialists, high-wire feats and more! Don’t worry: following the release of the new “It” trailer – creepy clowns need not apply.

Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden Arena | April 7 + April 8
Join American rock-god Bon Jovi for a two-night event at Madison Square Garden Arena. The performance coincides with his “This House Is Not For Sale” tour.  

Brooklyn Wine Fest | April 8
Salivate over a selection of hundreds of different wines from all over the world at the Brooklyn Expo Center. Wine samples are individually paired with food to create the perfect taste bud palette. The event will also include live entertainment and interactive games.

Jerry Seinfeld at Beacon Theater | April 13
The legendary New Yorker and comedian will bring the laughs to the Beacon Theater in New York at his once a month residency. After decades on the scene, Seinfeld is still one of the top comics in the game. You can also catch the comedian on his show, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden Arena | April 14
Join musical legend Billy Joel at his monthly residency at Madison Square Garden Arena. The iconic singer has had 33 number-one hits during the span of his incredible career. It’s a night any music enthusiast wouldn’t want to miss.

NYC Taste of the Nation | April 24
Enjoy food and drinks prepared by over 50 top chefs and bartenders from around the world. Proceeds fund “No Kid Hungry” – so it’s all for a good cause. The event also includes a Candy Carnival and Donut Derby (yes, you heard me right) – making this an ultimate adult playground. Come with a big appetite.

The James Beard Awards Media Dinner | April 25
The James Beard Foundation’s mission is to celebrate, nurture and honor chefs and other leaders making America’s food culture more delicious, diverse, and sustainable for everyone. The dinner features flavors from across the world, including Japan, Greece, and the Canadian west coast.

Tribeca Film Festival | April 19 – April 30
Celebrate cinema, television, games and music at one of New York’s largest film festivals. The schedule includes a narrative competition, documentary competition, midnight selection for genre fans, and shorts program. The festival will also be including the newest virtual reality programming to immerge this year. Talks will include conversations with Scarlett Johansson and Jon Favreau, Paul Feig, and Noah Baumcach with Dustin Hoffman.

Downtown Urban Arts Festival | April 20

Art Expo New York | April 21 – April 24
