Ultimate Vegan Festival, Eat Drink Vegan Returns to Pasadena’s Rose Bowl

Eat Drink Vegan is the latest incarnation of the popular festival formerly known as the Vegan Beer & Food Festival. Eat Drink Vegan is presented by Erewhon and will take over the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on May 27. The festival will provide attendees with unlimited pours of beverages while food will be available for purchase from a curated lineup of restaurants and food trucks.

More than 250 beverages will be poured at the festival, from beer, wine, coffee and tea, to kombucha. Participating breweries include Lost Abbey, The Bruery, Eagle Rock Brewery, Beachwood Brewing, Duvel, Firestone Walker, Hangar 24, Lagunitas, Stone Brewing, Telegraph, Ommegang, and many more. There will be ciders from Ace Cider, Reverend Nat’s, 101 Cider House, and others.

The wine list is curated by Plant Food + Wine and features a diverse selection of grape varietals and wineries. There will be plenty of rosé and cava, Riesling, Grenache Blanc, and even spritzers. Try a melon de Bourgogne, Carignan, or the Catalonian grape, parellada.

Get some healthy drinks with the long list of kombucha, curated by Kombucha Hunter –  from Revive Kombucha and Kombucha Dog, to Blessed Booch, Kevita, and Health-ade. Revive with some caffeine courtesy of Go Get Em Tiger, Matchabar, Califia, Menotti’s, and more. There will also be no shortage of soda, thanks to Fentimans, Maine Root, Joia All Natural Soda, and others.

Food will be available to purchase from over 100 restaurants and food trucks such as Broken Spanish, Café Gratitude, Badmaash, Southern Fried Vegan, Urban Ramen, Border Grill Truck, Amazebowls, and Trejo’s Tacos. Desserts to end the day with can be purchased from Donut Friend, Scoops Westside, Kind Kreme, Donut Farm, Diablo Pops, and vegan chocolates.

Attendees can also shop at the Green Saturday LA Vegan Marketplace for a variety of products such as body butter, cosmetics, shoes, apparel, art, jewelry, and other vegan creations.

General admission tickets are $55 and provide admission at 2 p.m., and unlimited 4oz pours of beverages. VIP tickets are $105 with 2-hour early admission at 12 p.m. and access to the VIP lounge area (21+ only). Child passes are available for $25. Food is not included with passes. Last pour is at 8 p.m. and the festival ends at 9 p.m. Parking at the Rose Bowl is available for $10, but public transportation is encouraged.
