Help End Childhood Hunger at Los Angeles Taste of the Nation

On Sunday, June 11 gather at the Media Park in Culver City for the 2017 Los Angeles Taste of the Nation to help end childhood hunger by eating and drinking your way through over 40 restaurants. In the United States of America, one in six kids don’t get the food they need, and you can help resolve the issue by partaking in the delicious food and drinks offered at Taste of the Nation. The annual nationwide fundraiser by Share Our Strength for their No Kid Hungry campaign also happens to be one of LA’s best annual food festivals.

This year’s event will feature over 40 of LA’s best restaurants. There are long-time LA favorites such as Akasha, The Bazaar, Inn at Seventh Ray, and Jitlada. New hotspots will also join the festivities, including Kato Restaurant, Hanjip, The Ponte, Kali Restaurant, and Chi Spacca. Each year, Taste of the Nation also brings restaurants from other states. This year will include restaurants such as Virtu Honest Craft in Phoenix.

Guests can finish off with desserts from Valerie Confections and B Sweet. There will be no shortage of drinks. Find beers poured from Baja Brewing Co, Duvel Brewery, Lagunitas Brewing Co, and others, or sip wines from wineries such as Kunin and Palmina. The day will end with the famous waiter races where teams of waiters will run relay races with a bottle of wine and empty glasses which must be filled from the bottle on every leg.

General admission tickets are $110 per person with admission from 1-4 p.m. VIP admission tickets are $160 per person and grants early admission at 12:30 p.m. along with VIP valet parking and an exclusive gift bag. Admission for children 13 or under is also available for $25. Citi cardmembers are eligible for 10% off ticket prices. There will be live and silent auctions throughout the festival, featuring unique experiences from travel to dining, and rare bottles of wines. Proceeds from the festival and the auction will benefit No Kid Hungry.

Los Angeles Taste of the Nation will be on June 11. Tickets can be purchased here.
