Sudeikis, Bateman, and Day Reunite in ‘Horrible Bosses 2’

If you thought you’d seen the last of Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day as a three-man kill team, think again! “Horrible Bosses 2,” the sequel to “Horrible Bosses,” is set for wide release in theaters Nov. 26.

In 2011, director Seth Gordon released American black comedy “Horrible Bosses,” starring the cast made up of the aforementioned Sudeikis, Bateman, and Day, along with Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, Jamie Foxx, and Kevin Spacey. The movie focused on three friends who were miserable enough in their lives to conspire against their tyrannical bosses. After being met by a long list of hilarious obstacles, they do end up succeeding and the film ends with all three employees seemingly satisfied. At least, that’s what we thought.

“Horrible Bosses 2” focuses again on Kurt (Sudeikis), Nick (Bateman), and Dale (Day), who have this time teamed up to start their own business. Conveniently for the hilarity value of the film, things don’t take off for the guys due to an investment gone wrong, which prompts the trio to – surprise, surprise – commit a crime. This time they’re kidnapping the backstabbing investor’s son to get even.

Directed by Sean Anders, the sequel brings back funny favorites Spacey, Aniston, and Foxx, and features Jonathan Banks, Kelly Stables, Keegan-Michael Key, Christoph Waltz as the bastard investor and Chris Pine as the kidnapped investor’s son

After the huge financial success “Horrible Bosses” received in the U.S., it’s no surprise how quickly a sequel was confirmed to be in the making, albeit released three years later. “Horrible Bosses 2” would be great for a guys’ or gals’ night out, date night, or even something you’d see on your own to send you into fits of laughter. Don’t miss it this Thanksgiving weekend!
