Celebrate Valentine’s Day with ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ at Los Angeles Theatre

Valentine’s Day is upon us, which means it’s officially time for love, romance, crowded restaurants and, this year, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s Cinespia” will be celebrating their third Annual Valentine’s Day party with a screening of the classic film at the historic Los Angeles Theatre.

Most sweethearts understand this is a busy time of year and tend to plan early accordingly. If anyone hopes to go out on Valentine’s Day, it’s best to make reservations and buy tickets as early as possible. Cinespia screenings, which typically sell out abruptly, are no exception. Couples that want to attend the event have already bought their tickets, making this party a sold-out one.

The film will be presented in 35 mm and starts at 9 p.m., with DJ Derek James kicking off the night at 7 p.m. with music. Tickets sold for $25 each with engaging benefits such as, a photo booth, five full bars, and a unique opportunity to experience the theatre that is usually, reportedly, closed to public audiences.

The theatre, located in the Broadway Theatre District downtown, has a classy interior that it’s no wonder this event has a dress code: the men are to wear jackets and ties, while women should attend in evening attire. Last year’s screening also took place at the theatre with a similar dress code. The award-winning flick “Titanic,” was played and guests were able to portray Jack and Rose at the photo booth.

“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” is a well-known and beloved romantic-comedy that makes for a great date night for any relationship. Released in 1961, the film stars a young Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. Directed by Blake Edwards and based on a novel written by Truman Capote, the story follows Holly Golightly (Hepburn), who enjoys life’s luxuries and ends up falling for her new neighbor (Peppard), a struggling author.

The event takes place on Feb. 14, and is limited to adults 21 and over. The individuals lucky or responsible enough to have purchased tickets before the destined sold out bar replaced the “purchase tickets” option, are sure to impress and display their devotion to a loved one at this exclusive Valentine’s Day party.
