Comedian Ari Shaffir to Host ‘This Is Not Happening’ at the Hollywood Improv

Stand-up comedian and actor Ari Shaffir will be hosting the hilarious recurring show “This Is Not Happening” at The Hollywood Improv on Feb.10th. “This Is Not Happening” features comics telling true and hilarious stories that fit the shows’ individual themes.

The hilarious Shaffir describes his comedy shows as a dirty puppet show, but without the puppets. His comedy may be dirty, but it is also laugh aloud hilarious and extremely relatable. Shaffir was featured on the HBO comedy series “Down and Dirty” with Jim Norton and performed at the just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and Toronto. He has also been in the San Francisco SketchFest and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland. Shaffir also has received millions of views for his short “The Amazing Racist” for National Lampoon. In addition, he has also appeared on ESPN Classic’s Cheap Seats, TBS’s Conan, Comedy Central’s Jon Benjamin Has A Van, and a plethora of national commercials.

Shaffir is one of the many comedians who use the podcast medium to make people laugh. His weekly podcast is titled “Ari Shaffir’s Skeptic Tank” and is part of the All Things Comedy Network. In addition, he is a regular guest on the hilarious Joe Rogan Experience podcast. He has also been seen in the TV movie “West Side Stories,” and the TV series Minding The Store.

In addition to headlining around the country, frequently touring with Joe Rogan, he is a regular at The Comedy Store, The Improv, and The Laugh Factory.
