Liam Neeson Returns for More Action in ‘Run All Night’

After a few movies where his family is in danger, Liam Neeson continues with the old saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” when it comes to “Run All Night,” out March 13.

Instead of the usual plot audiences have come to know with Neeson and his “Taken” franchise fame, no one is abducted. However, someone he’s related to is in danger and he has to come to the rescue. While the plot isn’t new to the actor, he is given a new set of skills to work with this time around. The 62-year-old actor plays Jimmy Conlon, an over-the- hill hitman who has to get back into the swing of things when his boss threatens the life of his estranged son.

Playing the intimidating boss man is Ed Harris, who appeared in the Oscar winning film, “Gravity”. “The Killing’s” Joel Kinnaman plays Neeson’s son and is the reason behind all the action, thrills and drama. Also along for this ride is Common fresh off his Oscar win for “Best Song” for “Selma,” Genesis Rodriguez is from the award-winning film, “Big Hero 6,” and Vincent D’Onofrio who will be in the new Netflix series, “Daredevil.”

Written by Brad Ingelsby, moviegoers are in for a lot of drama. He put pen to paper to bring Christian Bale’s 2013 “Out of the Furnace” to life. As far as directing, Neeson was in good and familiar hands with Jaume Collet-Serra. They worked together on 2011’s “Unknown” and last year’s sky high hit “Non-Stop.”

Run All Night” opens everywhere March 13.
