Jessie Ware to Play The Wiltern Before Heading Back to the U.K.

South London crooner Jessie Ware is bringing her rich voice and smooth melodies across the pond. Currently on tour promoting her sophomore album, “Tough Love” Ware is proving herself a force to be reckoned with! Catch Jessie’s last appearance stateside before heading back to the UK, April 8 at The Wiltern.
The first time many of us heard of Jessie Ware it was as a featured artist on tracks by the likes of SBTRKT and Joker. However, all that has changed since the release of her debut album “Devotion” back in 2012. Peaking at the number five position on the UK Albums Chart, and producing her hit single “Wildest Moments” it has been nothing but an uphill swing for the soulful singer. “Devotion” became one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the year, gaining the praise of everyone from Pitchfork magazine to Taylor Swift. 2014 saw the release of Ware’s sophomore album, “Tough Love” and even an appearance on the popular “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack. The album is full of lyrically complex and melodic tracks, including one penned by Ed Sheeran himself, entitled “Say You Love Me.” Jessie’s svelte vocals, sleek yet lush use of synth has garnered the singer millions of followers in the course of just two years and with good reason, this woman is talented.
The debut of “Tough Love” and this international tour truly marks the end of Jessie Ware as a featured artist or backing vocalist and begins her ascent into solo artist stardom. If romantic, modern sounding songs full of yearning sound up your alley, we suggest catching Ms. Ware before she heads back across the pond.
