6th Annual Vegan Beer & Food Festival Heads to the Rose Bowl

There’s never a lack of things to do in the L.A. area on the weekend. The beach is to the left, concerts are happening every which way and over in Pasadena people will soon be getting their grub on at the Vegan Beer & Food Festival.

The Rose Bowl usually houses things like the world famous New Year’s Day football game, and huge concerts from the likes of Jay Z, Rihanna and One Direction. They’re taking a break from the sports, but not the music and bringing Angelenos a variety of tasty treats and delicious craft beers from all over. There will be 64 breweries pouring over 100 kinds of beers throughout the day. Attendees are going to need all of that to wash down the vegan food that will be served up by some 40 food vendors and participating restaurants.

With all the beer going around, this is a 21 and older event. Along with all the food and booze, there is a number of great bands that will be playing. Jamestown Revival, The White Buffalo, The Drowning Men, Petty Cash, Joel Jerome and Lucy & La Mer are on all on the bill – so make sure to check them out and support.

Those with the VIP ticket get to head in an hour before everyone at 12 p.m. That ticket also gets people into a special VIP lounge as well. Though, everyone gets a signature LAVBFF glass upon entry that is good for unlimited drinks all day. That’s definitely worth the ticket! Prices range from $50 to $80, the higher being a VIP ticket that will hook up guests all day. The only thing is that no matter what ticket is bought – food is not included in that price, and is sold on its own.

The 6th Annual Vegan & Beer Festival is May 16 at the Rose Bowl. Tickets can be purchased here.
