10th Annual LAWineFest Showcases Award Winning Wines and Eats

Closing out the last weekend in May, LAWineFest will bring together wine lovers for its 10th annual event. Boasting hundreds of wines, craft beer, and spirits, this two-day celebration offers classes and presentations on wine and mixology from local experts, gourmet food trucks, and live entertainment, as well as merchandise, and lifestyle exhibitors. Set to take place at Hollywood’s historic Raleigh Studios, LAWineFest will present wineries stretching statewide from Napa Valley down to San Diego’s Vino Noceto. A few of the featured wineries are Roxo Port Cellars of Paso Robles, and two from Malibu, Cielo Estate Wines, and Rosenthal – The Malibu Estate. An exciting addition to the bill is the L.A. International Wine Competition with brands from overseas, Dalton Winery hailing from Israel, Italy’s Borgo Reale, and Bekseju USA representing Korea. There is definitely something for everyone at the boutique winery tent with selections from Ascension Cellars, Fathers & Daughters Cellars, and Panthea Winery & Vineyard, to name a few. Breweries will include Claremont Craft Ales, King Harbor Brewing Company, and Reel Brewery.

There will be no shortage of mouthwatering nibbles to accompany your drinks as several popular food trucks will be there. On the menu is everything from tantalizing sliders, crepes, lobster, smoking BBQ, grilled cheese, authentic Neapolitan pizzas, and many other delicacies. The location’s very own Raleigh Studios Café and other catering establishments will also serve up appetizing fare. No festival like this would be the same without a carefully selected group of merchants offering interesting beverages, culinary delights, produce, and kitchen tools. Other slated general exhibitors will offer high-end river cruises, fashion accessories, and cleaning services. Also in the line-up, host and comedian, Troy Rawlings will bring The Relationship Booth with Yonder.

As always, L.A.’s biggest and longest-running public wine tasting event has unlimited sampling, as well as water, coffee, and crackers to keep you going. Proceeds from LAWineFest will support charitable organizations; and your wine glass is for keeps.

LAWineFest will take place at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood on May 30-31. Tickets can be purchased here.
