BrunchCon LA to Give Attendees a Taste of the Best Morning Eats

It’s not quite breakfast, it’s not quite lunch, but it certainly is delicious.  For Los Angeles fans of the tweener meal, BrunchCon LA is a long overdue celebration of everything that mid-morning cuisine has to offer. If your weekend plans were already going to incorporate brunch, why not make it official with one of four sessions coming to the city on Aug. 12 and 13?

Following successful events in New York, Washington and Chicago, BrunchCon will gather the Southland’s biggest brunch vendors at The Reef in Downtown L.A. Attendees will get to sample specialties from 50-plus vendors at the event as part of their admission. Visitors can also, naturally, take advantage of bottomless mimosas at any of the six bars sprinkled throughout the event. For fans looking to try something a little different, there are also brunch-themed cocktails available.

It’s not all food and drink, though, as this event has some fun extras. For starters, a live DJ will be bumping grooves throughout BrunchCon sessions, and attendees can gather with fellow brunch enthusiasts at the photo booth to commemorate the affair with some brunch-centric props. Eventgoers can also enjoy casual lawn games like giant Jenga, cornhole and much more. BrunchCon also has over a dozen curated product and apparel vendors on site so brunch-fiends can get their shop on in between bites.

Tickets are broken down into morning and afternoon sessions on Aug. 12 and Aug. 13. General admission tickets, which include everything described above, cost $65 per session. Attendees can also indulge in a VIP experience for $95, which entails all the attractions listed above plus a special gift bag, VIP Lounge access, and half hour early admission to get the party started before everybody else. The event also offers $20 onsite parking or a designated Uber/Lyft drop off area.

The full list of vendors includes: The District by Hannah An, The Eveleigh, Messhall kitchen, The Guild L.A., Bosscat Kitchen and Libations, 2424 Main Street, Sweet Butter Kitchen, Echo Park’s Beacon, Mas Malo, Pez Cantina, Hugo’s, Nushii, Ubatuba Acai, Louise’s Trattoria, Benaddictz, Kneady Bakery, Owls Brew, Cos & Pi, Heritage LA, Hubert’s Lemonade, Petit Pot, Skinny Bitch Pizza, Club Mate, Soul Sweet Creations, BAI, Craft Draft, Al Madina Pastry, Ginja9, Them Balls, Aperol Spritz, Jardesca, Rice and Shine, A Pinch of Salt, Waffling Around, Taste Africa in Style, Salsa by Sep, Noosa Yoghurt, Toasted and Roasted, Humm Kombucha, SUJA Juice, This Bar Saves Lives, ZICO Coconut Water, The Waffle-Oh! Truck, Fanciful Fine Food, Juicy Gems, and Boogie Down Brunch.

Even if goers can’t make room for all that tasty brunch goodness, it seems like this fest will offer more than enough to keep brunch devotees satisfied.
