Polo Meets Champagne at Veuve Clicquot’s Annual Polo Classic in Los Angeles

Champagne and polo. Has there ever been a better combination? Well, the French Champagne company Veuve Clicquot doesn’t think so, which is why they’re gearing up for another annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 14. The event is set to feature a full day of glass clinking and horse riding among the rolling hills of Will Rogers State Historic Park. Whether you’re here for the polo or the drinking, this Classic is guaranteed to be a fun afternoon.

Polo is beloved tradition in the Pacific Palisades and Veuve Clicquot is proud to keep this sport thriving year after year. The match will begin at 2pm lead by internationally recognized polo star Nacho Figueras, one of the world’s top 100 players. Both before and after the match, attendees can take advantage of lawn games, food trucks and of course, plenty of bubbly wines. There will be a handful of champagne bars on-site featuring a plethora of drinks such as Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé, Yellow Label and a selection of their newest champagnes. Each glass will be served with ice and a fresh ingredient like herbs or fruit.

There are three tiers of tickets available for the afternoon. The GA admission includes entry, a round-trip shuttle ride from the parking lot and access to all on-site champagne bars, food trucks, games and even a photo booth for $75. Tier two, or Fast Pass, comes with all the advantages of GA but with the added bonus of quicker access to the shuttle service for $175. Rosé Garden is where you really start to see advantages. This $400 pass comes with an ornately decorated VIP garden from which to watch the match, a gourmet lunchbox from Wolfgang Puck Catering, private shuttle transport and specialty champagne bars. This, plus you’ll walk away with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rosé.

Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will take place on Oct. 14 at Will Rogers State Historic Park. Tickets can be purchased here.
