Get Fluffy with Gabriel Iglesias at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live

The California native, Gabriel Iglesias, has grown into his fluff while climbing to the top of the comedic chain since his days on Nickelodeon’s “All That.” This December, Iglesias, a.k.a. Fluffy, will be returning home to bask in the glory of his original audiences on his “Unity Through Laughter World Tour,” for two nights at Nokia Theatre LA Live.

Growing up as the youngest of six kids to a single mother, Iglesias was told to remain on the side of caution and find a financially stable job. However, Iglesias knew that Fluffy couldn’t be tamed and quit his job to pursue comedy full-time, only pushing harder when he lost his home and car. Hitting the ground with television, Iglesias appeared on numerous shows as memorable characters, proving his qualifications for the business. His name grew substantially when he made it to the final eight contestants on “Last Comic Standing” in its fourth season. Iglesias headlined Comedy Central’s “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand Up Revolution,” which has aired for three seasons.

Known for his trademark voices and references to his weight, the world has fallen in love with the honesty and quick-paced comedy that Fluffy has shown, further adorned with his Hawaiian shirts. His skills with sound effects take his live shows to an electrifying level, incorporating silly noises to accompany his stories and embellish his performance. His ever-changing voices can be heard on many animated TV shows and movies, such as “The Emperor’s New School,” “Family Guy” and the recently released “The Book of Life.”

Because Gabriel Iglesias works under the moniker, Fluffy, he prides himself with his ability to remain approachable and a kind-hearted human being. Using humor as self-deprecation rather than dwelling on other’s misfortunes, Fluffy has become a cherished character in the comedy world, making guest appearances as a host and performer.

Fluff up with Gabriel Iglesias on his “Unity Through Laughter World Tour” at Nokia Theatre LA Live on Dec. 27 and 28. Tickets are available online.
