Jon Cryer to Sign Copies of His New Memoir ‘So That Happened’ in Santa Monica
It’s been almost three decades since Jon Cryer first made the world fall in love with him as Ducky, but he’s managed to go from teen star to adult superstar. Along the way, he’s made mental notes that have all accumulated into his new memoir “So That Happened,” and he’s signing copies of it at the Third Street Promenade Barnes & Noble in Santa Monica on April 12.
Teen movies have always been around, but there was something about the ‘80s that made them pop. This was all thanks to a man by the name of John Hughes and a little redhead that stole hearts, Molly Ringwald. One of her most famous roles had a sidekick by the name of Ducky and even though it’s been almost 30 years since “Pretty in Pink” came out, it’s still a fan favorite. Jon Cryer is thankful for that and thankful his career got a huge resurgence in 2003 when he was cast in “Two and a Half Men.” It was dubbed one of the best shows early on in its first season, but the show was canceled in 2015. Now his fans will get an inside look at what Cryer has been through in a career that’s spanned some 30 years with the ups, the downs, and the in-betweens.
