Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival Heads to Los Angeles Coliseum

The lineup for this year’s iteration of the hip-hop festival Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival sells itself: Snoop DoggAtmosphereA$AP RockyMac MillerFlosstradamusDanny Brown and Tyler, The Creator, all in one day! Sweetening the deal is the fact that those are not only the biggest names scheduled to appear at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Hosted by Los Angeles’ own Tyler, The Creator and his Odd Future collective, it is difficult to imagine the fourth iteration of this hip-hop music festival boasting a more relevant and talented lineup of artists.

Many of the biggest names at Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival are touring to promote their new albums. Snoop Dogg returned to his original moniker and released “BUSH,” his thirteenth studio album in May; Tyler, The Creator released his well-received third LP, “Cherry Bomb,” in April; “GO:OD AM” by Mac Miller dropped in mid-September garnering the most critical acclaim of his young career; in May A$AP Rocky put out the bizarre follow-up to his breakthrough album, titled “At. Long. Last. A$AP.”

After four years of hosting this hip-hop extravaganza, Odd Future and Goldenvoice have perfected the layout and organization of the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival to a “T.” Last year’s festival goers saw incredible activities, such as a Ferris wheel, a skate park, and, because it is a carnival, county fair-style games. The multiple stages present only one true problem: picking between conflicting set times. While the festival organizers do a nice job of staggering sets’ start times, the large crowds make it virtually impossible to catch every single act on the bill.

VIP ticket holders can enter the festival at 1 p.m. while general admission begins at 2 p.m. In addition to early entry to the festival, VIP tickets include a backpack, hat, socks and access to a special viewing section.

Be a part of the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Saturday, Nov. 14. VIP and General Admission tickets can be purchased here.
