Pasadena’s Rose Bowl Flea Market Is Still Going Strong

As the old saying goes, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure and this can likely be the tagline for the Rose Bowl Flea Market. Thousands of attendees pass through to sell, bargain and score on everything from art pieces to vintage furniture.

The Rose Bowl Flea market opens up their grounds to over 2,500 vendors this year selling trinkets, antiques, items from travels and so much more. Those who think that is too many sellers need to keep in mind that number doesn’t compare to how many buyers are expected to come out to dig through and find just the right piece they’re looking for to complete their collections or just to add to their decor. Some 20,000 people will walk through this year. It’s about not only the hunt but the fun as well. It’s always interesting to get out for the day and look at new things, things that may not be readily available on the shelves at a major department store.

Once inside, shoppers can peruse around and enjoy the typical flea market bites like hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, rice bowls, frozen lemonade and even beer, wine and cocktails for those old enough to partake.

Tickets for this range in price from $8 per person to $20 per person for those who want that VIP status and get in from 5 a.m. – 7 a.m. Beat the rush and be one of the first to see what all the vendors have to offer. That’s as high as the entrance fee goes, but there are other early entry levels as well. All tickets can be purchased the day of the event at the box office located at the Rose Bowl that is open until 3 p.m. Those coming with groups can reach out about special pricing offers as well.

This Flea Market has been a part of Pasadena’s city for over 45 years now and they’re showing no signs of stopping.

The Rose Bowl Flea Market is every 2nd Sunday of the month. Tickets can be purchased in person, day of opening.
