Party With a Purpose at the UNICEF Masquerade Ball

Angelenos will get their fair share of events to try out their best costume ideas this Halloween season, but only one shot to do it for the benefit of a great cause, The United Nations Children’s Fund. This year UNICEF’s annual masquerade ball returns on Thurs, Oct. 27, with all proceeds being raised to aid children in need all over the world.

The UNICEF Masquerade Ball has become UNICEF Next Generation’s signature philanthropic event. An important subset of the main organization, NextGen is made up of a passionate group of young entrepreneurs, innovators and philanthropists who have committed their resources and networks to help support UNICEF’s valuable lifesaving work. The resolve and enthusiasm of NextGen members is focused on studying issues that affect children around the world and making informed decisions on which UNICEF projects to support through education, advocacy, volunteering and fundraising. Through this work, members are able to mobilize and excite their networks and inspire the next generation of philanthropists to take action on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable sector. The UNICEF Masquerade Ball is the perfect way to partake in some Halloween festivities without forgetting to give back, with over 600 emerging global leaders, celebrities and philanthropists attending. The evening is always a great party, and guests are encouraged to come dressed in their finest evening wear, and a classic mask is required. The night will be filled with dancing, a wide array of food and drink options, all in the celebration and support of UNICEF’s important lifesaving work.

So if you like dressing to the nines and giving back to a good cause, we suggest suiting up, buying a pair of tickets and dancing the night away with another like-minded pal. The event will begin at 9pm and will not dial down till about 2am, so enjoy that charitable giving.

The UNICEF Masquerade Ball will take place Oct. 27 at Clifton’s Cafeteria.
