Los Angeles Magazine’s 12th Annual The Food Event Returns to Saddlerock Ranch

Spend Sunday afternoon of October 15 sampling bites from some of L.A.’s top restaurants and sip wines outdoors with the rolling Malibu Hills in the backdrop at Los Angeles Magazine’s The Food Event. This year marks the 12th anniversary of The Food Event, which takes place once again at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu. The lineup of restaurants and the stunning outdoor setting makes The Food Event one of the top events in Los Angeles to attend.

This year, The Food Event will feature tastings from 40 of LA’s favorite restaurants including 71 Above, Bouchon Bistro, Eataly LA, Baltaire, Here’s Looking at You, Bone Kettle, Manuela, Spago, Scopa Italian Roots, Republique, Guerilla Tacos, Cliff’s Edge, and more. In between sampling food, guests can attend chef demonstrations by chefs Miles Thompson (Michael’s Santa Monica), Arjun, Nakul, and Pawan Mahendro (Badmaash), Jessica Largey (Simone), and Maycoll Calderon (Tintotera).

There will be no shortage of drinks at The Food Event. Plenty of wines will be keep guests’ thirsts quenched, poured by Beekeeper Cellars, Malibu Family Wines, Martian Ranch & Vineyard, Hoyt Family Wines, Hawk and Horse Vineyards, and Tuck Beckstoffer. Spirits tastings and cocktails will be available courtesy of Glenfiddich Whisky, Hendrick’s Gin, and Karma Tequila. Take a caffeine break with beverages from Peerless Coffee & Tea.

Tickets are $130 per person when purchased in advance, $140 at the door. Tickets include all food and wine samplings as well as self-parking at the venue. After party tickets can be purchased for an additional $15. The after party will be held at Malibu Café at Calamigos Ranch and includes a complimentary glass of wine or specialty cocktail, food samples, live music, and valet parking at Calamigos Ranch with free shuttle from Calamigos Ranch to Saddlerock Ranch. The after-party package also includes early registration wristband, allowing guests to avoid entrance line at the main festival.
