Dress to Impress for the ‘90s Prom Party at Fonda Theatre

Prom is a timeless tradition where high school kids spend way too much to eat a catered dinner, dress up so their parents have at least one picture of their kid in formal attire, and for some it’s the night all teen movies are made of. For some, it was the best of times and for others it was the worst of times, and for a good percentage, they didn’t even go. Well Drink.Eat.Play. is offering everyone a chance to do it all again with their ‘90s Prom Party at the Fonda Theatre.

It’s a night to let the ‘90s fashion fly high as attendees step back in time for a take-two at a night to remember. People are definitely encouraged to rock some clothes inspired by the theme, but people won’t be turned away from staying in the present. It just seems like more fun to participate. Other than what to wear, once inside prom goers are met with LA’s Party Band that will be playing all the jams from back then. Who doesn’t want to spend the night singing along to Sublime, TLC and the multitude of boy bands? There will also be a DJ on deck to spin dance tracks as well.

Like a scene right out of “Total Request Live,” there will also be a photo booth up to capture all the memories of the night. Also note that a ticket inside guarantees a legit prom picture. It’s a chance to replace that old one mom has on the mantle with an ex from over a decade ago. A quick recap of dressing in ‘90’s attire for a night out that will leave attendees dancing to hits like “Wonderwall,” “California Love’ and “Groove Is In The Heart.” Let’s not forget the best part. There will be a cash bar so it’s like a prom, but for the grown-ups.
