Super Bowl 50: L.A.’s Best Bars to Watch the Big Game

In Los Angeles, the biggest Sunday in February will always be Oscar Sunday, but when it comes to football fans Super Bowl Sunday takes the lead. Here’s all you need to know about the best bars throughout the city to watch Broncos vs. Panthers in the big game come Feb. 7. Get ready!

The Bungalow – Santa Monica
Brunch and bottomless mimosas are usually the main attraction at this retro lounge on Sundays across from Santa Monica Beach but on Super Bowl Sunday The Bungalow will be hosting a parking lot cookout to celebrate the game. Goal Sports Cafe – Downtown LA
With over a dozen crystal-clear HD TVs, delicious burgers and buffalo wings, Goal is the place to be in DTLA on any game day especially Super Bowl Sunday, their biggest day of the year. Voted one of the best bars in L.A. to watch Thursday night football, Goal is just as energetic on Sundays with doors opening bright and early at 9:30 a.m. 

Rock & Reilly’s Irish Pub – West Hollywood
This Sunset Strip hot spot known for its variety of beer and whiskey will be hosting its “4th Annual Stupor Bowl” for the big 5-0 Super Bowl. Fans of both the Broncos and Panthers can come together and indulge in food and drinks inspired by the teams, including Carolina style pulled pork sliders, Manning Mac & Cheese and Panther Punch Shots. Busby’s East and Busby’s West
Both Busby’s L.A. locations are sure to be packed this Sunday as Busby’s East was rated #1 L.A. Sports Bar by MSN while Busby’s West holds the title in Santa Monica. The Parlor – West Hollywood

Da Bears may not be playing this year, but Rush Street will be showing the big game on its 15 TVs and serving up a special all-day menu. Basement Tavern at The Victorian – Santa Monica
This picturesque 19th-century mansion may not seem like an ideal place to watch football but hidden in the basement of the Victorian in Santa Monica is the happening bar and lounge known as the Basement Tavern. To celebrate the Super Bowl, they will be giving out complimentary tailgate food (burgers, wings and hot dogs). The game will be shown on their 10 large TV screens.Make sure to stick around afterwards for live music.

Venice Whaler – Venice Beach
