Natasha Leggero Will Bring Sass to the Stage
Stephanie Hernandez
Natasha Leggero is one of the funniest women on the comedy circuit today. From her spots on Comedy Central roasts to her appearances in films, Leggero is a master of comedic timing. Do yourself and your sanity a favor and catch Leggero when she hits The Comedy Store and UCB Franklin Theater this May.
Born in Rockford, Illinois, Natasha began performing in Chicago theaters at the age of 10. Moving to New York to study at the Stella Adler Conservatory post high school, Leggero simultaneously attended Hunter College and received her B.A. In theater criticism. Relocating to Los Angeles post-university, Natasha found herself getting involved in television, from being a regular panelist on Chelsea Lately to hosting 2010’s Last Comic Standing. Her personal standup has been featured everywhere from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to the comedy tent at SXSW and Sasquatch Music Festivals. Natasha’s latest venture, “Tubbin’ with Tash” premiered late 2013, a show on the comic’s personal YouTube channel that features her interviewing guests while in her hot tub. Leggero, not one to slow down, took the time to toss out some of the best insults uttered at The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber this year.
She’s funny, she’s fierce and a mere five feet tall, Natasha Leggero stands tall in the face of all those who say women aren’t funny. If you enjoy brutally honest comedy, we suggest snagging a ticket now.
Natasha Leggero will perform at The Comedy Store May 9 and 16 and the UCB Franklin Theater May 27.
