The People’s Choice Awards 2015 Hosted by Anna Faris and Allison Janney

This year, The People’s Choice Awards will be hosted by the stars of “Mom” on CBS Anna Faris and Allison Janney, with a performance by Lady Antebellum. The event will take place at The Nokia Theater at L.A. Live on January 7, 2015 with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. and the show starting at 6:00 p.m.

The People’s Choice Awards is an American awards show that recognizes the people and the work of pop culture, voted on by the public.  It has been held annually since 1975 and is broadcast on CBS, produced by “Survivor” producer Mark Burnett and Proctor & Gamble.  This award show is often audience’s favorite of the season, because it’s their vote that matters.  Last years show was hosted by the two stars of CBS’ “2 Broke Girls” Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings, and featured musical performances by numerous artists such as Sara Bareilles, OneRepublic, and Brad Paisley. Numerous celebrities have made appearances including Jessica Alba, Drew Barrymore, Sandra Bullock, Ellen DeGeneres, and Zac Efron.  Past hosts include Kaley Cuoco, Queen Latifah, Craig Ferguson, Jason Alexander and Malcolm Jamal-Warner.

This is one of the few award shows that is open to the public, with ticket price ranging from $30 to $175.  Patrons can also purchase a VIP Viewing Package for $395, which includes one orchestra ticket in the first 20 rows, access to the VIP red carpet viewing area, one limo drop-off pass, and one collectible laminate.  For $350 you can purchase the Orchestra VIP Package that includes one orchestra ticket in the first 30 rows, access to the VIP pre-event reception at L.A. Live, one limo drop-off pass, and one collectible laminate.
