Comedian Tom Green to Perform At the Famous Hollywood Improv

Funny-Man Tom Green to Perform At the Hollywood Improv

Comedian Tom Green is one of the most epic comedians of our time.  He began his career with MTV fame on one of the network’s highest rated programs, “The Tom Green Show.”  This show was the first of its kind and paved the way for other series like “Punk’d,” “Jackass,” and “Fear Factor.”

After “The Tom Green Show’” blew up on MTV, Green produced, directed, and starred in films including “Road Trip,” “Charlie’s Angles,” “Freddy Got Fingered,” “Stealing Harvard,” and “Bob The Butler.”  He has also hosted NBC’s “Saturday Night Live”.

After being a testicular cancer survivor, Green came out with an autobiography called “Hollywood Causes Cancer,” that has become a critically acclaimed book exploring his battle with testicular cancer during the peak of his hit MTV show.  He then created “The Cancer Special” which was a full-length television special for MTV in which Green documented his multiple surgeries.  The special was named one of the top 10 TV shows of the year by Time Magazine.

A few years later, Tom had his own online talk show, which was, again, the first of its kind.  “Tom Green’s House Tonight” was the first live streaming talk show to become a huge success on the Internet.  The series was broadcast in real time from his living room studio, and is the highest rated online talk show in history.

Green is now traveling the world on a sold-out comedy tour, in addition to just completing a 90-minute standup special for Showtime.  He is also planning to launch a 24-hour live comedy channel.

Tom Green appears at the Hollywood Improv on Jan. 24. Tickets can be purchased here.
