Hollywood Improv Welcomes the “King of Zings” Himself Colin Kane on Dec. 18

Named a “King of Zings” in 2010 by the New York Post, Colin Kane has earned his spot in the comedy world. Known for his uncanny abilities to improv personal jokes with live crowds, Kane is hitting the road with a tour starting at the Hollywood Improv on December 18. After a successful two-year run at Caroline’s on Broadway, his fan base has skyrocketed him to a consistent career of sold-out shows including The Theater at Madison Square Garden, performing for thousands.

A born and bred New Yorker, Kane has been performing his spitfire comedy since 2002, when he left Lynn University to pursue the business full-time. Kane has toured the country and even ventured across the pond, hitting the Stockholm Comedy Festival and performing for U.S. military personnel at the Wounded Warrior Project in Germany. His comedy’s wide appeal has given him the opportunity to work with comedians from Paul Mooney to Jerry Seinfeld.

Winning Howard Stern’s “Kill or Be Killed” stand-up competition, Kane’s ease with comedy has him taking the stage and staying there. “The Opie and Anthony Show,” one of the top radio shows on the air for nearly a decade, had Kane on as a recurring guest.
