Fall can make us Angelenos’ want to settle in and begin to hibernate, but who are we kidding, there are plenty of exciting events and touring acts popping up throughout Los Angeles 365 days a year. So, feast your eyes on “The Bucket List,” Entertainment Voice’s quintessential list of the top events and happenings that take place throughout Los Angeles every month. Here are our “must do” suggestions for the month of November:

The Black Keys | Nov. 6  
Rolling Stone has dubbed the Black Keys’ eighth studio album “Turning Blue” as “a cross between ’60s soul and Midwest garage glam.” While the band may indeed be “turning blue,” you can make your friends turn green with envy by seeing the Black Keys live at the Forum. Get your tickets while they last.

Love Has Many Faces, Joni Mitchell | Nov. 6
Mingle with one of the most influential female artists in history. Joni Mitchell has lent her creative genius to “The Fiddle and the Drum,” a film that tackles environmental issues close to Mitchell’s heart through ballet and a musical score set to her music. The film will be presented along with a celebration of Mitchell’s birthday in the Hammer courtyard after the screening.

Tim Allen at the Laugh Factory | Nov. 6
Known as the voice of Buzz Lightyear and for making us laugh in “Home Improvement,” “The Santa Clause” and “Last Man Standing,” Tim Allen will do a rare standup show at the Laugh Factory. If you’ve never seen him perform live, make it a priority — he’ll keep you laughing until your face hurts and you’re short of breath.

AFI FEST | Nov. 6–13
Hollywood still draws thousands of hopeful starlets every year to join the thousands of film enthusiasts that reside here. This year the eight-day Film Fest, in conjunction with Audi, will honor screen siren Sophia Loren. From the opening to closing ceremonies, AFI always has surprises in store. Watch screenings of award-worthy films and attend panels with your favorite directors, actors, writers and producers. If you can, grab a ticket and get there early to see your screen idols arrive on the red carpet.

Tea by the Sea | Nov. 6–27
The Getty Villa invites you to tea every Thursday and Saturday this November. At precisely 1 p.m., the Villa opens its beautiful doors to guests wishing to experience the fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables from the Getty’s re-creation of a 1st-century Roman garden. For $36, you can make reservations to try the Mediterranean-inspired menu and top it off with the Getty Villa’s famous carrot cake. Have a relaxing and historical adventure while enjoying the Museum’s breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

iHeart Silverlake Food Festival | Nov. 9
Having withdrawals from the L.A. Food and Wine Festival? No worries. The iHeart Silverlake Food festival (also known as the “Eastside Food Festival”) is here to save your voracious tasting palette. Head out to Mack Sennett Studios on November 9 to browse the best culinary treats the eastside has to offer. Taking place from 4–8 p.m., this foodie dream also doubles as a benefit for PATH.

Kinky Boots | Nov. 11–30
The critically acclaimed and Tony Award-winning modern musical scored by Cyndi Lauper, “Kinky Boots” will make its L.A. debut at the famous Pantages Theatre.

Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin | Nov. 11 – Dec. 21
The Geffen Playhouse delivers a world premier theatrical production in the bosom of Los Angeles. The story of “America’s Composer” Irving Berlin is the epitome of the American Dream, that through hard work and dedication anyone achieve the greatest success. This poignant and heartfelt production begins special previews on November 11 before its official opening night on November 19. The shows run on a limited engagement schedule, so grab your tickets before they run out.

First Aid Kit | Nov. 12
This Swedish sister duo found international success via their YouTube video cover of the Fleet Foxes’ “Tiger Mountain Peasant Song.” Now, after opening for Swedish breakout stars like Lykke Li, First Aid Kit is one of the most-buzzed about bands in Hollywood.  Promoting their 2014 album “Stay Gold” (named for the famous Frost poem “Nothing Gold Can Stay”), the sisters hit the Wiltern on November 12. Tickets are on sale now.

Foster the People | Nov. 14
With the success of “Pumped Up Kicks” still marinating in its vestiges of glory, Foster the People’s has created more catchy tunes worth a listen. Go out and have a wild night with a beloved band launched in Los Angeles’ own backyard.

Tegan and Sara | Nov. 18
Rocking the airwaves for over a decade, these Canadian twins have recently topped the charts. Tegan and Sara’s seventh studio album “Heartthrob” features the hit “Closer,” which has been receiving massive airplay since its debut in 2013. Their music is perfect for a date night, so snatch up some tickets and cozy up on November 18.

Cold War Kids | Nov. 18
Cold War Kids are back in L.A. armed with music from their latest studio album “Hold My Home.” With influences ranging from Bob Dylan and Billie Holiday to the Velvet Underground, this Californian indie-rock band is sure to please audiences of all ages. Grab tickets to see them tear down the Observatory on November 18.

Usher | Nov. 21
There’s no doubt that this R&B icon and judge on NBC’s “The Voice” will put on an incredible show at the Staples Center. Prepare for a night filled with soulful belting, intense dancing and an amazing light show.

Justin Timberlake | Nov. 24
“The 20/20 Experience” is back! After only three months since his last L.A. show, J.T. returns with yet another powerhouse tour. Any Timberlake fan will tell you: the singer is worth seeing multiple times in any year. If you didn’t catch him back in August, be sure to see him at the Forum (his last stop in Los Angeles this month).
