Daley to Sing His Sexy R&B at Belasco Theater

UK native Daley isn’t only known for his fiery red hair, but also for his blazing hot vocals. The singer just launched his debut album “Days and Nights” this past February, and he’s now scheduled to perform at the Belasco Theater on November 6.

Born and raised as Gareth Daley in Manchester, the singer relocated to London to pursue a musical career and his first notable achievement was his collaboration on the Gorillaz single “Doncamatic.” Released in 2010, “Doncomatic” peaked at No. 37 on the UK Singles Chart, placing Daley on the map of upcoming UK artists, and the accompanying music video features Daley in a one-man submarine. Daley continued to share his talent with artists like Wretch 32, Marsha Ambrosius and Jessie J. The 2012 release of the single “Remember Me” featuring Jessie J spiked Daley’s popularity even further, causing fans to anticipate the release of a full album. The duet showcases Daley’s abnormally high vocal range and place the song at No. 24 on the UK Singles Chart.

Daley’s Belasco show will feature two opening artists: Conner Youngblood and Travis McClung. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Youngblood has a strong online presence since releasing a completely self-produced album in 2012. With a unique sound similar to halcyon indie artists like Bon Iver or Ray LaMontagne, Youngblood meshes tranquil elements and prominent beats with a wide variety of instruments. Also a native of Dallas, McClung is known more for his acting than his music, but he has a large fan base from covering other artists’ songs on YouTube.
