Bush Will Take the Stage at The Wiltern

Bush and Theory of a Deadman will be taking the stage at The Wiltern Jan. 31. They will be joined by Stars in Stereo. The show is certain to satisfy their collective fans with a plethora of their top hits as well as some of their most recent work.

British rock band Bush has been actively making music, despite a long hiatus, since 1992 in their hometown of London. The group was formed by Gavin Rossdale and has seen several changes in band members over the years. However, they have had several top ten hits in the rock and alternative charts and though from across the pond, have experienced great success in the States. The multiplatinum-winning group’s debut album “Sixteen Stone” highlighted their raw talent and alternative sound and makes them arguably one of the most successful rock bands of the 90s. Their most recent albums “The Sea of Memories” and “Man on the Run” follow an eight years split were featured on the Billboard Top 200 and garnered favorable reviews from fans alike.

Theory of a Deadman, although heavily similar to rock music, has some elements of country and alternative music. The group formed in Delta, British and was the first act signed with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records imprint in 2001. Their hit songs “Bad Girlfriend” and “Lowlife” earned spots on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks charts. Their song “Head Above Water” was featured on the “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” soundtrack and gained the band more exposure.

Supplemental act Stars in Stereo’s front women Bec offers a rock touch to the punk-grunge groups. They have been recording only since 2011 and this group is still getting on their feet, but has received warm welcome in their native Los Angeles. Their debut namesake album highlights the up-and-coming bands emotional lyrics and heavy rock instrumentals.

The three acts compliment each other’s sound and will give audiences a memorable night.
